Nurse Practitioner Provincial Initiatives and Programs (NP-PIP) is a Ministry of Health–funded program delivered by Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of British Columbia (NNPBC). We support longitudinal primary care nurse practitioners (NP) across British Columbia with mentorship, coaching, practice resources, professional development, reimbursement programs and Community of Practice.
Working alongside NPs in urban, rural, remote and First Nations communities, NP-PIP strengthens NP practice, fosters integration into team-based care and helps improve access to high-quality, longitudinal primary care for people across BC.

Meet the Provincial Regional Lead Team
NP Provincial and Regional Leads provide clinical and professional coaching, mentorship, and practice support, while also serving as liaisons with regional PCN partners to enhance NP role clarity and support effective integration into local teams. The overall objective is to ensure strong regional leadership and mentorship, enabling NPs to thrive in their roles and grow as leaders within their communities.
