On April 6, 2020 members of the Licensed Practical Nurses Association of BC (LPNABC) voted to dissolve LPNABC and transfer assets to NNPBC.
The LPN Council of NNPBC commends LPNABC members for undertaking this decision. This decision was made in the best interests of meeting the needs of BC’s LPNs and ensuring that a united LPN voice brings forward matters of advocacy and policy that will advance our profession.
“I want to personally thank LPNABC leadership for being forward thinking and focused on the best interests of LPNs”, said Teresa McFadyen LPN Council President and NNPBC Board member. “As a former LPNABC President I know how much work the organization has done on behalf of BC’s LPNs and I’m pleased that NNPBC can carry that work forward. I look forward to advocating on behalf of our proud profession and
welcome LPNABC members to join us as we move forward.”
