Certified Registered Nurses & Registered Psychiatric Nurses

The resources in this section help nurses understand certified practice, access current Decision Support Tools, review revisions and stay informed about updates.

Our role

NNPBC is responsible for maintaining the DSTs for three certified practice areas: RN First Call, Remote Nursing and Reproductive Health (Contraceptive Management). We also maintain the competencies for all certified practice areas.

DSTs are regularly reviewed and monitored based on best practices. The information provided is considered current. Certified nurses are responsible for following the most current DSTs.
