DST Updates & Revision History

In March 2020, the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) transferred responsibility for the review and maintenance of the Decision Support Tools (DSTs) and Competencies to NNPBC. NNPBC collaborates with stakeholders through a governance structure and review cycle to guide the creation, evaluation, revision, and/or retirement of DSTs.
NNPBC’s Professional Practice team works closely with the DST Steering Committee and Working Groups to ensure that DSTs align with current nursing processes and reflect the principles of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for optimal client care.
